Case 10:Tracheal Stenosis

Patient History

The subject is a 31 year old male. At age 10, he had S/P division of vascular ring performed. Now he is complaining of shortness of breath and dyspnea on exertion.

Initially, the symptoms appeared to point to tracheal stenosis, but the patients CT scan showed no significant stenosis. The true diagnosis is that the patient has asthma. The patient is doing fine now that his asthma is properly treated.
