Remote Consultation Site Panel

Joining in a Consult with Other Sites
The Join button allows you to start consults with another sites.
To start a consult with another site, select the site from the list of Available Sites. The site you selected will appear in the Selected Site box. Next, press the Okay button in the lower left corner. You can join only one site using the Remote Consultation Site panel.
Once you press okay, the computer will send a message to the other site asking for permission to engage in a consult.
Remote Site Accepting Consult
Before the two sites are joined in a consult, the remote site must give permission. A message will appear on their computer, and they must accept to participate in the consult.
Multiparty Consult
If three parties want to consult, the third party must ask permission from the site that gave permission to join. For example, if Ottumwa started the consult by asking permission to join Keosaqua and the University of Iowa wanted to join the consult as well, the University of Iowa would also have to ask permission to join Keosaqua. Basically Keosaqua is the party who can give permission to other sites to join. However, if Keosaqua pressed the join button first and selected Ottumwa, then the University of Iowa would have to ask permission to join Ottumwa.
Cancel
If you decide that you do not want to join a consult with another site simply press the Cancel button in the lower right corner.
