John Hoford received the B.S.E. degree
in computer science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. Until October 1992, he was a programmer at the
Cardiothoracic Imaging Research Center, Department of Radiology,
University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a private consultant to
several research hospitals developing custom imaging software for
specific research goals. His current research interests include multidimensional biomedical image visualization, segmentation and analysis.
