Tube Geometry - Graph Properties
The graph properties is useful in visualization of the centroid results. The user may choose to display or not to display the tubal area, anterior-posterior length, and lateral length of the tube at a particular centroid. Also,
allows user to display all or a range of the centroids on the graph.
Graph Buttons
The graph buttons tell the program which statistics to plot on the graph. If a "check mark" is present in the button area then this set of data is plotted on the graph. If a "check mark" is not present in the button area then this set of data is not plotted on the graph.
Tube Area
This is for selecting the tube area at each centroid calculated to be plotted.
-
AP Length
This is for selecting the anterior-posterior length at each centroid calculated to be plotted.
-
Lat Length
This is for selecting the laterial length at each centroid calculated to be plotted.
Normalize Button
The normalize button when selected (the check mark on the button) re-scales the values by a percentage of their values on the vertical axis. The normalize button when not selected ( the button is blank) scales the centroid's values by millimeters on the vertical axis. The default value is to have the normalize button with a check mark.
Range Min Line
The min line is for selecting the start centroid to be graphed. For example, if the user wishes to exclude the first two centroid's statistics from the graph, the user deletes the current value and types in "3" . The graph now starts with centroid from slice 3 and goes
to the max line value. The default value for this line is "1".
Range Max Line
The max line is for selecting the last centroid to be graphed. For example, if the user wishes to exclude the last two centroid's statistics from the graph, the user deletes the current value and types in "n-2 value" (where "n" is the number of centroids). The graph now starts with centroid from slice 1 ( or the current min line value) and goes
to the n-2 value. The default value for this line is "n".
Title Line
The title line gives the user the option of making his own title for the
graph.
Note: the title is best displayed if it contains less than fifty spaces.
Apply Button
The apply button when activated causes the above selections to be implemented and a new display of the graph entails.
