Tube Geometry
The define orientation panel is used to tell the programs the direction the original file and the segmented file are positioned.
Original Was Line:
The original was line displays the orientation for the original file is displayed to the right of the button.
Change the answer if it is not consistant with the original file's orientation.
Place cursor over the button and right click on the button to bring up menu.
Hold and drag the right mouse button to the correct choice and release the mouse button.
Select
- Transverse if the image slices were taken from Foot to Head or Head to Foot
- Sagittal if the image slices were taken from Right to Left or Left to Right
- Coronal if the image slices were taken from Posterior to Anterior or Anterior to Posterior
Sliced From Line:
The sliced from line displays the orientation for the original file and is displayed to the right of the button.
Change the answer if it is not consistant with the original file's orientation.
Place cursor over the button and right click on the button to bring up menu.
Hold and drag the right mouse button to the correct choice and release the mouse button.
Select
- Foot to Head if slice #1 was taken closer to the foot of the subject.
- Head to Foot if slice #1 was taken closer to the head of the subject.
Top Canvas Button:
The top canvas button displays the orientation for the segmented file is displayed to the right of the button.
Change the answer if it is not consistant with the original file's orientation.
Place cursor over the button and right click on the button to bring up menu.
Hold and drag the right mouse button to the correct choice and release the mouse button.
Select
- Anterior if the top of the Define Orientation image is the patient's front
- Posterior if the top of the Define Orientation image is the patient's back
- Right if the top of the Define Orientation image is the patient's right
- Left if the top of the Define Orientation image is the patient's left
Side Canvas Button:
The side canvas buttons displays the orientation for the segmented file is displayed to the right of the button.
Change the answer if it is not consistant with the original file's orientation.
Place cursor over the button and right click on the button to bring up menu.
Hold and drag the right mouse button to the correct choice and release the mouse button.
Select
- Left if the right side of the Define Orientation image is the patient's left
- Right if the right side of the Define Orientation image is the patient's right
- Posterior if the right side of the Define Orientation image is the patient's back
- Anterior if the right side of the Define Orientation image is the patient's front
Orig Slice Line:
The original slice line is used for changing the slice for making the
tubal calculations on. The user may either type in the slice number on the line (remembering to hit return) or use the mouse cursor to move the slider in order to change the slice.
Apply Button:
The apply button loads the information in the above lines and buttons
selections into the appropriate programs.
