Multi-object Shape Based Interpolation - Define Objects Panel

The define objects panel is used for giving the interpolation program the list of instructions for which objects to interpolate and what their final interpolated values should be. One or more objects may be selected from a data set to be interpolated. The user defines the input object threshold range and the output object color and then selects the apply button for each object. The defined object information is passed to the interpolation program. The process is repeated until all the need objects have been defined.

Input Object Threshold Range

The input object threshold range values are used to tell the interpolation program which objects from the data set to interpolate. Objects are defined by their pixel value range.

Min line

The min line is used for defining the minimum pixel value of the object. The user may either type in the pixel value or use the slider to set the value.

Max line

The max line is used for defining the maximum pixel value of the object. The user may either type in the pixel value or use the slider to set the value.

Output Object Color

The output object color value is the pixel value used for the finished interpolated object in the output file.

Value line

The value line is used for defining the pixel value for the interpolated object. The user may either type in the pixel value or use the slider to set the value.

Object List

The object list is a list of the output object color value(s). This list shows the user what the final object(s) values are so the user may continue picking new values for the next object(s) to be interpolated.

Apply Button

The apply button when activated sets the object value to be used. The apple button is activated for each object.
