Movie Viewer Main Panel
To call up this module:
- Press the right-mouse button down on the Visualization button on the VIDA main panel
- Drag the cursor down to the Movies menu item
- Release the right-mouse button to select the Movies menu item
The Movie Viewer module uses unique techniques to rapidly display images, including movies made using modules such as Volume Render and Surface Render. Geometric relationships and/or motion (such as myocardial wall motion through a heart beat) are perceived by viewing many frames rapidly, producing animation. This module also has the capability to flip image data sets about the major axes. You can use this module for producing video either by direct video taping of the screen or by using scan converters.

Full Screen Cine
The Full Screen Cine menu item under the Cine menu button blanks the screen and animates the image dataset in it. In this mode of Movie display, all other processes are hidden such that the dynamically displayed image data set is viewed on a black background. To stop the movie at anytime click the left-mouse button anywhere in the screen.
This form of display is particularly useful if you have a means of converting the high resolution video to standard video for recording purposes. Note, filming the movie via a video camera aimed at the screen may result in roll bars due to the beating of the two video frequencies. Please consult your local computer sales representative or a VIDA sales representative for suggested video recording solutions.
